Set of 3 charming white clay fine vintage tiles, made in Spain in the 60s or early 70s. Warehouse stock, never sold. Beautiful drawings from nursery rhymes. The drawings are the same as on the childrens cups and sauces made by Arklow of Ireland. These tiles were made in Spain around the same time, but I haven´t been able to find out how both products are related. Featuring characters of 4 nursery rhymes: Little miss muffett Baa baa black sheep Mary Mary quite contrary Little boy blue Very good vintage condition, these white ceramic tiles were never used, they are dead stock from a decoration shop that closed decades ago. Some may have slight dust marks on the back ( white clay being a porous material). These tiles will make an excellent wall art gift to decorate a newborn or toddler room. Can be placed on a wall by adding a small adhesive hook or maybe on a rack to display on a shelf ( out of the reach of the toddler...)
